Ordered this for a friend's birthday surprise - we wanted to do an escape room, but something a bit more personalised. This fit the bill.
It was relatively easy to set up, though we encountered some issues with the padlocks. However, Harry was incredibly helpful in ordering us replacements and talking us through any questions we had. He was also amazing at sorting out a delivery issue that we faced. If I could give Harry 10 stars I would!
In the end it was a fun experience had by all, and I would heartily recommend ☺️
My grandchildren age 15, 13, 11 and 10 really enjoyed this activity. Some adult help was needed but it was just right level for them and we look forward to choosing another one.
One of the escapes in the box has become our Christmas night family tradition. The props, the clues, everything about it was great! Looking forward to this year's escape at Christmas, Polar!
Great fun for the whole family! Ages 6- 90+ joined in to help Santa- there were puzzles suitable for all to do and we all really enjoyed it! Highly recommended!
It was enjoyable and challenging enough. A few of the puzzles didn't seem intuitive at the time, but looking back at them and the hints they made sense. Did take a little time to get into it so could do with more direction at the start, but overall a good time and we enjoyed cracking the code!
We've only done the first (easiest) escape so far, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. I was a little disappointed at first that we needed a Host who then wouldn't be able to take part in the escape, but it actually worked out much better then I'd feared and our chosen Host has asked to host our future escapes too!
We enjoyed figuring out the numbers needed. Some were easy, we wasted time thinking some details listed were important but they weren't. We didn't need the hints for the location or the numbers of the code. But we were baffled by how to figure out what order to put them in. So we did find that a bit frustrating as that clue was mixed in with lots of red herrings that we wasted time on thinking were relevant. It's clear looking back but at the time it was a stretch. 85% fun though
I've done a few escape rooms at home, and was always left disappointed because they weren't challenging enough. This one certainly was (in a good way!)
Loved it great quality wasn't too easy or too hard and I had fun doing it.

It wasn't a given easy you do need to use a little brain power but you get everything you need and hints to help along the way.
Great way to spend an hour. Solved this on my own so had to use some of the clues. Got you think and looking back and fourth on the clues. Over all enjoyed it and now can’t wait to do another.
Had a great time! I was a little unsure about the set up at first as this was the first time I’ve done a at home escape room like this and the puzzles are non-linear. Definitely have a pen and paper to make notes! The hints came in quite handy so glad that was included. Took me just over 45 minutes to complete. I did over complicate some of the puzzles, mostly just to decipher what information was actually important. Have already recommended it to my friends :)
Kept the offspring entertained on Christmas Eve for 20 mins. Good simple fun.

We found all the details we were meant to but had no idea what to do with them without the hints. There wasn’t enough of a narrative to take us through the game.
We’ve never played an escape room game like this, so we weren’t on the wave length.
Decided to be lazy this Christmas and buy an escape room rather than attempt to make one up %28like last year%29 for my adult children and spouses. I bought the download Christmas one to use on Christmas Eve and ordered the Epic Escapes x3 escape room one to use on Christmas Day. Totally awesome%21 Beautifully presented with lovely wooden boxes%2C good solid padlocks%2C etc. The host is given step by step guides to set up and play. The players can ask for clues which are also provided. Everything about these games has been carefully thought out. Follow up emails show customer service is very important to this company and even telephone numbers are provided if help is needed. %28Unlikely given the excellent host information%29%0D%0AReally pleased I bought this. So looking forward to running my first “professional” escape room%21
Great idea and thoroughly enjoyable. 5 of us did it, me; wife; 2 daughters and granddaughter and we all really enjoyed it. Needed a bit of help so used some of the clues but done it in just over the hour. Really gets the grey matter going. Shall be getting the elf one next !! 100% recommend this.
Very interesting and fun game. Was a bit hard to figure it out, took us more than an hour. We did it with my kids, 9 and 8 years old. They were very excited about solving it.
This was the first time we had attempted any type of escape room.
We struggled initially but gradually got better and managed to solve it although in just over an hour.
It was a fun experience and we would buy again.
First time playing, i was impressed. Set up was great. Although challenging at times the team work helped .
