On a long, lonely and hot walk through the desert, a hiker comes across a fork in the road with 2 directions ahead of him.
The signpost at the fork has been blown down in a sandstorm, he pulls it from the sand dune to reveal it still marked clearly with 3 cities.
After a short time studying, he continues in the direction he needs to go to head to his next city.
How does he work out what way to go?

The signpost has 3 cities marked. He simply needed to orientate it so the city he’d come from pointed behind him!
